The Dandenong Harley Owners Group was formed over 10 years ago, with a view to follow the principles set by the International Harley Owners Group, and develop a club in the area for riders wishing to meet new people, get out and enjoy their Harleys in a friendly family environment. With our membership exceeding 230 members and 60 associates, it makes for a very sociable club and for consistent numbers of 30+ on our rides. From humble beginings, the club has grown to be a very active and sociable club. Our sponsored charity, Very Special Kids, in Lord Somers Camp Somers, has organised outings each year where the club rides to their camps and then takes our Very Special Kids on rides. (Sometimes even the parents go for a ride!) We ride every Friday night and the second and last Sunday of each month. On public holidays or events such as Christmas/Easter, it is a those who ride.. decide, but there is alwyas a ride on. Our membership includes Tradesmen, IT Specialists, Doctors, Accouontants and people from a variety occupations, but all have the same passion of riding their Harley-Davidson and getting out and enjoying good times and great company.
